How it works

1. Drop or select your PowerPoint presentation (PPT, PPTX, ODP).
2. Click Convert to PDF. Each slide becomes a page of the PDF.
3. Download the resulting PDF. Source and PDF are deleted after 1 hour.

Slides faithfully rendered

Our conversion engine preserves each slide's layout, embedded fonts, images, charts, vector shapes and hyperlinks. Each slide is rendered as a PDF page in 16:9 or 4:3 format depending on your presentation.

Dynamic transitions and animations are not preserved (PDF is a static format), only the final state of each slide is exported.

Conversion typically takes between 3 and 10 seconds depending on slide count — a 20-slide presentation converts in under 8 seconds on average.

Accepted PowerPoint formats

Microsoft PowerPoint: PPT (PowerPoint 97-2003), PPTX (PowerPoint 2007+). OpenDocument: ODP (OpenOffice Impress, Google Slides export). Most files generated by PowerPoint 365 or Google Slides (PPTX export) are supported with no adjustment.

Privacy and security

The whole conversion runs on our servers in France (OVH Gravelines). No US third party is involved in the conversion process — no CDN, no storage, no tracker. Your presentations are never indexed, analyzed or reviewed. No result is cached: two conversions of the same presentation produce two independent PDFs.

The source presentation and the generated PDF are deleted after one hour. If you create a share link, a copy of the PDF is kept for the period you chose (up to 7 days on Free and 30 days on Premium). You can delete the share (and therefore the PDF) at any time. conv2pdf is GDPR-compliant, and a DPA is available on request for professional use.

Frequently asked questions

Are PowerPoint animations preserved?

No. PDF is a static format: only the final state of each slide is exported. To keep animations, export your presentation as an MP4 video from PowerPoint instead.

Are presenter notes included?

By default no, only slides are exported. An option to include presenter notes (handout mode) will arrive in a future version.

Are embedded videos converted?

No. A video embedded in a slide will appear frozen on its thumbnail in the PDF — the PDF format does not support native video playback in most readers.

Can I export multiple slides per page?

This tool exports 1 slide per page by default. Handout mode (2/4/6 slides per page) will arrive in a future version.
