How it works

1. Select or drop your image (max 10 MB on Free, 200 MB on Premium).
2. Click Convert to PDF. Conversion is instant, with no waiting most of the time.
3. Download the generated PDF. The file is deleted from our servers after one hour.

Accepted image formats

The tool supports the most common formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, TIFF and BMP. Images are re-encoded into the PDF while preserving their original resolution; no quality loss is introduced. A transparent PNG or WEBP is rendered on a white background in the resulting PDF.

Privacy and security

The whole conversion runs on our servers in France (OVH Gravelines). No US third party is involved in the conversion process — no CDN, no storage, no tracker. No result is cached: two conversions of the same image produce two independent PDFs.

The source image and the generated PDF are deleted after one hour. If you create a share link, a copy of the PDF is kept for the period you chose (up to 7 days on Free and 30 days on Premium). You can delete the share (and therefore the PDF) at any time. conv2pdf is GDPR-compliant, and a DPA is available on request for professional use.

Frequently asked questions

Is the tool really free?

Yes, conversion is free up to 10 MB per image, with no sign-up. For larger files (up to 200 MB), you can upgrade to Premium (€4.99/month).

Is the image quality preserved?

The PDF keeps the original resolution and applies standard compression. For print output or an e-book, adjust the size afterwards with the Compress PDF tool.

Does anyone look at my images (your team or an outside party)?

No person or automated system inspects the content of your files. They are deleted after one hour.

Can I convert a PDF back to an image?

This tool only converts images to PDF. For the reverse (PDF to JPG), a dedicated tool is planned in a future release.
